More about Kagure Clothing
Kagure takes its name from the ancient Japanese term “Yukikagure,” featured in the 8th-century poetry anthology Manyōshū—a phrase meaning "to gather together." The brand embodies this notion, bringing together natural materials, timeless wisdom, and craft into modern design.
Firmly rooted in Japanese aesthetics, Kagure offers garments and lifestyle pieces—ranging from soothing innerwear and organic outerwear to handmade vessels—crafted with longevity and comfort in mind. Their philosophy is simple yet profound: to make wearers feel more at ease, and perhaps help their lives take a serene, gentle turn.
Kagure also lives its ideals in space. Its Omotesando location in Tokyo is known as Japan’s first "green fashion store": from the clothes to the interior finishes—white oak floors, cedar ceilings, iron, and plaster walls—the environment itself creates a tactile, sustainable experience.
