Online Purchases Only Returns Policy

Christmas Online Returns Policy 

Goods bought at full price from 1st December 2024 may be returned to Cordelia James up to Saturday 4th January 2025 for a refund, with the labels intact and in a saleable condition. 

Please note our in-store policy differs from our online policy.

SALE RETURN POLICY:

Sale and discounted items are subject to a 7 day return policy, please notify us of your return within 5 days of receipt. 

While we hope you will be very happy with your Cordelia James purchase, we understand that sometimes you might have second thoughts.
In order to return or exchange goods, you must contact us via email (hello@cordeliajames.com) for a returns number within 7 days of receipt, we will not accept items returned without a valid returns number.
Please return the Goods to the Cordelia James returns department at the address below within 14 days of receipt.
Please note, returns to other Cordelia James stores will not be accepted and you may not receive your refund.
All items, including sale items* may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of your goods being received, we will not accept returns outside of the above time frame other than for faulty goods and we will not accept returns for items that are not in their original condition (see below for what constitutes original condition). All items are thoroughly checked prior to dispatch, we advise customers to check goods on receipt, and before removing the tags. Cordelia James Ltd. will refund the original card used for the purchase within 10 days of receiving the returned items. Depending on the bank, it may take up to 28 working days for the transaction to appear on your bank statement.

The refund includes the full value of the items returned but excludes postage costs. Cordelia James is not liable for the cost of returning items and the item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures the value of the goods and that you always retain proof of posting. Please include your returns form with the item with the returns number clearly visible. If any discount was applied to your original order any items returned will be refunded at the discounted price.

When returning clothes or footwear please make sure that when trying items on you are not wearing any make up, deodorant or perfume which might in any way leave a scent or mark on the item. The item must be returned in any original packaging with all tags still attached and must not have been worn or washed and must be in the condition it left Cordelia James. Please note that earrings and underwear are non-returnable.

Overseas Orders:

Unfortunately, we are no longer able to accept returns on overseas orders. 

Any additional taxes; duties; customs and/or holding charges; and/or any additional charges in relation to international shipping that are not explicitly referenced in your invoice will be the responsibility of the purchaser. 

If purchased items are unreasonably refused and/or are failed to be collected and/or the acts or omissions of the purchaser cause unforeseen issues with customs and/or import, Cordelia James reserves its rights fully in relation to refunds which will not be given if the items are unsaleable.

What constitutes Original Condition?
Item is unworn, unwashed and in a saleable condition.
Item is in its original packaging.
All labels intact. If any labels have been removed, we will not accept the return.
We will inspect every item returned and all returns are at the discretion of the owner.
 
This does not affect your statutory rights.

In-Store Return Policy

Christmas In-Store Returns Policy 

Goods bought at full price from 1st December 2024 may be returned to the store they were purchased from up to Saturday 4th January 2025 for an exchange only, with a valid receipt, the labels intact and in a saleable condition. 

A credit note valid at that store only will only be issued for items returned within 14 days of purchase. Credit notes are valid for 1 year and can be used in any store and online. 

Returns are accepted at the discretion of the staff. No refund is offered. Sale goods and items purchased at a reduced price are non-returnable & non-exchangeable. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

Usual In-Store Returns Policy

Items may be returned to the store in which they were purchased from, within 14 days, with a valid receipt, labels in tact and in a saleable condition. 
We will offer an exchange or a credit note (valid for 1 year and can be used in-store & online).
