Founded in Denmark in 2020 by Mads Lehn Kruse, Tapis Noir is a testament to Lehn Kruse’s expertise as an art director and his passion for interiors and antique textiles. As a collector of rare fabric documents, he revitalizes their faded splendor for contemporary audiences, digitally transforming woven textures, rich tapestries, and old wall panel techniques into exquisite silk pieces, complemented by his own warp prints.
